Niklāvs Kadiķis is an artist working with photography, video and installation. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Latvia (2023), studied contemporary photography at the ISSP School (2025) and is currently enrolled in POST, a specialisation within the Visual Arts master’s programme at the Art Academy of Latvia. Alongside his studies, he is a member of "Kurss", a collaborative network and creative platform for the exploration of photography and related media, formed by 17 ISSP School graduates. He has participated in group exhibitions in Latvia since 2024. In 2025 he was selected as the winner of the ISSP Open Call 2026, which will result in a solo exhibition at the ISSP Gallery.

Kadiķis' artistic practice explores collective memory, belonging and the politics of space, tracing the tension between personal experience and the structural forces that shape it. His work often draws on archival practices, attending to relationships and experiences that remain invisible within dominant narratives.
